Company mission statement
To create an internationally certified, sustainable, equitable, socially- and environmentally-oriented group of companies whose ultimate objective will be to produce, market and distribute high-quality natural value-added products derived from specialty crops to selected markets in East Africa, Europe, and North America while creating positive and sustainable social and environmental changes in one of Kenya‘s most underserved and marginalized areas.
Company vision
To be a modern, sustainable, socially and environmentally responsible group of organizations, committed to at least 11 of the UN‘s 17 SDGs, that produces and sells natural plant-based high-quality food products and supplements aimed at benefiting and improving the health and lives of people of all ages, and of all kinds of animals around the world, all while leaving positive impacts in the communities we work in and the lightest possible carbon footprint on the environment.
Company Philosophy
The vertically integrated and internationally certified agri-business and food processing group produces, markets and distributes a variety of self-grown, high-quality plant-based packaged consumer products to local, regional and international niche markets. The various high-quality and highly-nutritious product lines are destined for human as well as for animal & livestock consumption. It operates its business by orienting itself along at least eleven (11) of the UN‘s seventeen (17) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which are geared towards reducing poverty (SDG 1), promoting good health (SDG 3), encouraging quality education (SDG 4), using renewable energy (SDG 7), creating good jobs & economic growth (SDG 8), focusing on innovation (SDG 9), consuming responsibly (SDG 12), acting on climate change (SDG 13), assisting life on land and below water (SDG 14 & 15) , and partnering for the goals (SDG 17).
From farm to finished product, the group integrates quality, safety, efficiency and responsibility into every aspect of its operations with the objective of converting particular and carefully selected crops into ―natural, practical, high-quality, consistent, safe and nutritionally-rich packaged dried food products‖, which are expected to provide positive and lasting health benefits for the people as well as the animals who consume them. The resulting outcome of the Group‘s mission is strategically designed to crystallize its vision within the next 3 to 5 years and, in the process, create a long lasting and sustainable platform for Change by becoming a catalyst and multiplier of positive effects on the societies it works with, the environment it works within, and the customers it works for.
With a high-energy Team, modern and responsible strategies, and a strong collective drive to realize the corporate Vision, the Company plans to generate better-than-industry returns and/or incomes for its investors, employees, shareholders, and partners for the long run.
