Thank you for your interest in Papa Farmers Ltd. We specialize in growing and processing African Bird’s Eye Chillies and Moringa Oleifera products for export from Kenya to customers anywhere in the World.
We have approximately 40 productive acres of farmland North of Malindi, Kenya where currently 12 are dedicated to Chillies, 21 to Moringa and the rest for future capacity increase.
We are looking to supply our high quality produce to distributors, middle-men, end-users (food processing plants) and other large buyers around the world.
Papa Farmers Ltd (PFL) is a recently formed farm enterprise based in Malindi, off the expansive East African Coast of Kenya. We currently specialize in growing and processing African Bird’s Eye Chillies (ABE) and Moringa (Moriga Oleifera) for sale to International and Local Markets.
At Papa Farmers, we grow our produce right from the nursery stage to full maturity in an area called Fundisia (approx. 40 kms North of Malindi). Our intentions are to grow more and more produce over time and create jobs and skills to enable us to improve livelihoods within our communities and provide better prices and quality for our customers.
Since our inception in late 2015, PFL has implemented modern, efficient and environmentally friendly methods and techniques to accelerate production and, at the same time, create unprecedented quality of fresh and processed (dried) produce. We ensure this by selecting farm properties with excellent soil conditions and potentials. We also work with valuable suppliers and partners, who provide us with customized inputs. Last but not least, we are constantly trying to minimize the impact on our environment, while at the same time, improving the livelihoods of our employees and partner out-growers.
We currently train and employ anywhere between 30 to 80 individuals, who for a long time have not had feasible and long-term jobs. Over time we hope to be involved in projects where we can give marginalized families opportunities for income generation and develop education-focused projects for their and other children in the area so that we can increase literacy rates and ensure for the availability of good workers. These projects are currently in the planning stage and are due to make an extremely positive and sustainable long-term economic and social impact in the areas in which we work.
